A simple CBS situation comedy set in a German Prisioner Of War Camp during World War Two,
it is the longest broadcast run of any American Television Series inspired by that war.
From September 17, 1965 until April 4, 1971 my Dad, your Grandfather, Great Grandfather, Great Great Grandfather would tune in and crack up.
Of the total of 168 episones that were produced, I missed arround 3 years of them because I was serving my country. Guess I have a little catching up to do.
